At the end of February 2021, we ran an online, Fur- tual Pet Show over the course of a week on our Wylie Wellness Centre and Upminster Facebook pages, with many classes including, Cutest Puppy, Funniest Cat and Golden Oldie Dog to name but a few. It was lots of fun and great so see so many gorgeous pets taking part. We asked you to vote for the pet you loved the most in each class and on our final day those thirteen winners were entered into our Grand Finale.
What an exciting day this was for everyone, you voted literally in your hundreds to find our Wylies Champion and you chose the very beautiful Heidi, pictured here.
Heidi was rescued in 2009 by her lovely owners from Battersea and settled into her new home really well with her new family.
Her win was particularly special for her owners because just three weeks before our competition she was bought into the hospital a very sick dog indeed. Her owners are over the moon with her recovery and thanked the whole Wylies team for their hard work and dedication in getting Heidi well again.
All of our winners received a beautiful rosette and Heidi won a faux fur blanket for her bed. This will apparently help her to carry on with her all-time favourite hobby …. sleeping x
