Wylie Testing Plan

Preventive wellness plan for dogs focused on parasite screening and reduced environmental impact.

The Wylie Testing Plan offers a flexible, eco-conscious approach to parasite prevention for dogs. Instead of monthly treatments, this plan provides quarterly home testing kits to monitor for intestinal parasites, allowing treatment only when needed. It’s ideal for owners looking to reduce unnecessary product use while maintaining peace of mind.

This plan is currently available for dogs only and is supported by our teams at Wylie Wellness Centre in Brentwood and Wylie Veterinary Centre in Upminster.

Who the Wylie Testing Plan Is For

You may benefit from this plan if you:

  • Prefer not to use parasite prevention products year-round
  • Want to minimise environmental impact by reducing chemical use
  • Are not currently being treated regularly and want insight into your pet’s parasite risk
  • Would like the benefits of a preventive pet health plan without routine medication

Your dog will only receive parasite treatment if test results indicate it’s necessary. All samples are processed in an accredited laboratory, and you’ll be contacted if treatment is required. Please note: treatment costs are not included in the plan.

What’s Included in the Testing Plan

  • Quarterly home-delivered test kits for faecal parasite screening
  • An accredited laboratory, free return postage and analysis at Wylie Veterinary Centre
  • Annual health check with a qualified veterinary nurse, including an external parasite check
  • Annual vet check and vaccination, including kennel cough if needed
  • Free microchip if your dog is not already chipped
  • 10% discount on raw meat diets, neutering, and dental treatment

Risk Assessments & Eligibility

Because some parasites can be life-threatening or transmissible to humans, we conduct a risk assessment at your dog’s annual vaccination visit to ensure this plan remains suitable for their lifestyle.

Our team will assess your pet’s exposure risk and recommend the best approach based on:

  • Outdoor access
  • Interaction with wildlife or other dogs
  • Travel or boarding activity
  • Family needs and household members

For personalised guidance, book a consultation at our Brentwood or Upminster location.
