I joined Wylie’s in September 2018 along with my partner Vanessa. I’m originally from Belgium and I qualified from Liege in 1997 and moved over to the UK. My first job was in Colchester. I have also worked as a locum vet, in several different practices before moving to Kent. I joined Wylie in September 2018. I’m currently in the process of undertaking a certificate in Cardiology with Liverpool University.
Pascal and I joined the Wylie family in September 2018 and are so excited to be part of this wonderful team. I qualified from Liege in 2001 and have worked in the UK ever since. Before joining Wylies, I was a clinical director at a large veterinary hospital in Kent, where I lived with Pascal and our 2 children. I hold an RCVS certificate in Ophthalmology and have undergone further leadership training.
I’m another South African who left the sun and wide open spaces of my homeland for the irresistible lure of Essex! I first started working at Wylies in 1999. I have spent most of my professional career at Wylies which has become a second home to me. I have a certificate in ophthalmology but enjoy all aspects of veterinary practice. I have a particular interest in Species Appropriate Nutrition and raw food for pets which I believe is a corner stone of good health. I also have a keen interest in brachycephallic dogs (Bulldogs, French Bulldogs and Pugs) but love animals of all shapes and sizes!
My wife Angela and I have been part of the Wylies family since 1991 after graduating from the Vet School in South Africa. Since then we have had 4 visits to the Harold Wood Maternity Unit (as it was then) and 3 visits to the Cats Protection League! I have a certificate in internal medicine but ultrasound is my passion! Outside of work, family commitments take up most of my time although I also enjoy swimming, bike riding and yoga. I feel privileged to be able to work as a Vet in the UK and to be part of the Wylies family.
