Greyhounds make lovely pets in the right home environment thanks to their gentle, even-tempered and affectionate personalities, modest exercise requirements and fine coats. Many of our clients have been able to give loving homes to retired racing greyhounds.
As a breed they also have certain unique physiological characteristics which are important to recognise in interpreting blood test results, giving anaesthetics and treating them with flea and worm remedies.
We are proud to have Julius Ibello on our team of vets. Julius has a special interest in Greyhounds and has been working at the Romford Greyhound Stadium for the past 14 years. He has extensive experience with both racing and retired greyhounds.
